Rapper, Song writer, Kenny "DoTt" McCalmon. born in Brooklyn, NY, then moved to New Haven, C.T., has always been a fan and interested with the entertainment industry.
DoTt started his music journey to the top, in high school where he would create and produce records for local artists. DoTt then took his learning’s to New Hampshire where he collaborated on songs with several local artists.
His appreciation for music and the process of creating records that fans can relate to and connect with, allowed him understand different genres of the music industry, and assisted him in his early music years, helping develop himself as an artist with his own sound, and style.
DoTt has collaborated on several records, featuring artists such as Connecticut Artist M.A.R. (Streetlevel Ent.), L-ement, and Kayo (fellow artists of Nu-Alliance Records), and Al Dada (TrumpCard Records). In his quest this past year, DoTt worked with New England’s DJ Six7, releasing his first independent mixtape entitled “Time Is Now.”
